Lyra
Experienced School Teacher
Lyra is a registered kaiako who loves working closely with students and their families, creating a warm
and engaging learning environment. My journey has taken me through various educational settings,
from early childhood to primary, and even into freelance teaching. With a background in both
education and science, I've developed a rich understanding of teaching, which helps me design
learning experiences which spark curiosity and exploration.
Ann
Experienced School Teacher
Ann is an experienced New Zealand registered primary school teacher. After originally training and working in the U.K., she been teaching in New Zealand schools for more than 20 years. She has taught throughout the primary school age range. However, in recent years her focus has been on years 0 to 3 and the basic literacy and numeracy strategies essential for success.
Ann works hard to recognise and cater for each child's individual strengths and needs. She uses her experience and knowledge of the school curriculum and the learning process to develop programmes that enable a child to maximise his/her learning potential.
Ann’s positive and caring relationship with children helps them to gain in confidence and to develop an enthusiasm for learning.
