Lexie is a second-year student studying for a Bachelor of Health Science and Bachelor of Laws at the University of Auckland. Lexie is a passionate tutor who has experience with people of many different backgrounds and abilities. Experienced in helping people with learning differences, Lexie understands differences in learning abilities and styles are important to acknowledge when it comes to tutoring.

Lexie achieved NCEA levels one through three with excellence while still focusing on personal development. Lexie’s focus is on English, receiving first in the subject in year 13.

In her spare time, Lexie is a keen long distance runner, enjoys all things music and loves to draw and read.

Zoe enjoys tutoring others and pays attention to detail, uses her initiative. Zoe is a good timekeeper and very organised. In her spare time Zoe likes walking her dog, tramping, baking, reading, playing netball, running and kayaking.

Arnav

Arnav is a second-year student at the University of Auckland studying a Bachelor of Science, specialising in Biomedical Science in the Neuroscience pathway.

Arnav has experience tutoring high school students. As a student leader in high school, Arnav's leadership, outgoing personality, communication skills, and excellence-level knowledge are all used to help his students.
 
Arnav knows that each student is different, and therefore it is essential to adjust to their learning styles to maximise a student's ability to understand the content. No matter the learning style of his students, Arnav aims to cater to their needs and provide support throughout their academic journeys.
 
In his spare time, Arnav likes playing the guitar, playing football watching Formula 1 races, and playing video games, and looking after his dog.

Emma recently completed an Honours degree in Counselling Psychology and is working as a Teacher Aide this year in addition to tutoring.

Emma has previous experience in the media industry after completing a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Media Studies and Sociology. In her spare time Emma enjoys reading, movies, and going for walks.

Xerxes is in his final year of his Bachelor of Arts, majoring in psychology and economics.
 
He understands learning can take time and different approaches for each student. Xerxes enjoys helping people find their unique way of learning and tailoring their learning journey in a way that makes them want to learn more. His favourite subjects to tutor are economics and business, but he also enjoys teaching a wide variety of subjects.
 
In his free time, he loves to be out in nature with his friends and out in the garden taking care of plants, or if the weather doesn't permit, staying inside and reading an old classic book.

Chloe is passionate about lifelong learning and loves learning about anything that piques her interest! As a tutor she works to instil a similar love for learning in her students. She strives to cultivate strong relationships with her students and help them become confident in achieving their academic goals.

Jason is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Auckland.

Science has been a lifelong fascination for Jason. He finds great pleasure in working collaboratively with students to help them fully understand difficult concepts. Jason strives to do his best for all of this students and help them reach their full potential.
