Our Tutors

KTL Tuition tutors are hand picked by Marie Kelly (KTL Tuition Founder and Educational Psychologist). Marie selects tutors who:

  • Have real life knowledge of the NCEA, Cambridge and IB exam pathways. Our tutors are university students who have recently achieved success in the New Zealand high school system
  • Are passionate about their subjects. Tutors who are passionate and articulate about their subjects are key to helping students develop a lifelong enthusiasm for learning
  • Are friendly and engaging. Our tutors are experts at quickly developing rapport with their students. Tuition sessions become something to look forward to, instead of a dreaded obligation.
  • Can adapt to suit individual student needs. With Marie's background in Educational Psychology, your child will be tutored using the method that best suits their unique learning needs. If your child has a learning difference, we've got the knowledge to help them achieve.

Testimonials

We would like to express our utmost thanks to the KTL Tuition team for the help they provided to our son who has dyslexia and dyspraxia.

After some research we enrolled him at KTL Tuition. The support over the years in both English and Maths has enabled him to enjoy school and not feel that he was falling behind. As a result, his self confidence has grown hugely over the past few years.

Marie has been an absolute pleasure to deal with. We would like to record the highest possible recommendation to KTL Tuition for other parents.

I thoroughly enjoyed my three years of tutoring with Ben.

He is a great tutor and ensured that I fully understood everything before moving on. I highly recommend him to anyone that is looking for a science tutor
